NELSON MANDELA, BARBRA WALTERS, PRESIDENT BUSH AND IRONMAN

MANDELA A TERRORIST?

80 year old Nelson Mandela has apparently turned up on the U.S. terrorist list. Yes, we’ve finally hit a new low. Let’s see, Nobel Peace Prize winner, changed his country for the better, admired the world over, only the Bush administration could equate this to terrorism. Thanks for the further embarrasment.

BARBRA WALTERS SPILLS HER GUTS TO OPRAH

In an effort to promote her book, Barbra Walters has spilled her guts out to Oprah about an affair she had with the first popularly elected African American to the Senate, Edward Brooke. I bet she got a great interview out of that one. And where better to do it than on the Oprah Winfrey show in front of the afternoon soap crowd. This may explain how she got a lot of those “Impossible” interviews.

 PRESIDENT BUSH MAKES HISTORY

President Bush made history as his approval rating dropped to 71 percent. That is the lowest rating ever for a President. Way to go! Congratulations.

IRONMAN, THE MOVIE OPENS!

I’ve personally been waiting for this one and I got to see a special screening of it. It’s definately worth seeing. Robert Downey jr. does a good job of playing Tony Stark the billionaire with a substance abuse problem. HMMM. I’m not sure there was a lot of acting there. Really I’m not kidding it’s good and lives up to its hype. Make sure you stay until the credits are over. There’s a tidbit at the end.

RANDY MOSS SPONSORING HIS OWN NASCAR TEAM?

I don’t know how good an idea this is. I remember how Deion Sanders and his Pro bass fishing worked out. It ceratinly wasn’t his forte. Stick with football Randy!

  1. Iron Man was practically flawless as a super hero flick; it drops pretty obvious hints that would indicate a sequel as well… i’m thinking the next one should be equally great

I agree with you Patrick. All this did was get me excited for the next one. Ending it with the Nick Fury comment about the Avengers initiative opens so many possibilities. Thanks for your comment.
